Great fun and good times in the woods with great friends.
Spacious and comfortable
The cabin didn't have any issues. Had electric and running water. It was cheaply priced. It relied on you cleaning up after yourself which is expected and respectful. The real appeal is that you can rent one of these babies and go hiking and come back and have a bonfire out back and cook and do some regular camping things and then go back to a real place that doesn't feel like completely roughing it but still forgos some of the standard luxuries. It's pretty off the grid.
Stayed here a couple of times, always happy with the cabins, they're cozy but can comfortably sleep seven at least and the heat keeps the cabin toasty even on the coldest nights. Every time I leave I can't wait to come back again. Access to tons of hiking, fishing, exploring, historic sites, hunting and even shooting ranges. Amenities in the cabin are limited, but there is a shower, toilet, kitchen (with stove, sink, refrigerator and microwave) area, two bedrooms and a small living room area. Each cabin also has an outdoor, steel fire ring for cooking or bonfires and some outdoor furniture. Within fifteen minutes are grocery stores and a Walmart so you aren't out of luck if you forget to pack something. And the rangers don't bother you unless you are making a scene or conspicuously breaking the rules. Super fun place to stay for a weekend or a whole week even!
