Old civil defense bunker remnants, NIKE support unit, former parachute factory, and Silver Lake Park trails. Del Haas Pond and bird sanctuary all hidden in the neighborhood.
Old historic site, interesting place to explore!
Great Local Find! I had no idea this local park was so big with so many trails, and I pass by regularly! Hidden ruins and old stone foundations for local Urban Explorers. Yeah Ill be saving this!
This is a great place to check out, I actually live right next to it, but you go through the first thing you notice is history in these woods, there is peices of metal everywhere, fallen trees a herd of deer. You will also find a route to a college, a trail, and a route to a now knocked down elementary school.
A great hidden park in an urban area. Theres history back there and lots of trails over the marshlands. You can find all sorts of animals including turtles and deer. Theres wooden boardwalks to traverse and old reminants of a bomb factory which you can make great video with. Also shortcut to the college from back there.
