Nothing short of Excellent , Friendly staff and the Atmosphere has a lot of chill.
The food is excellent. There is something for everyone on the menu. BYOB ❤️❤️❤️
We had a lovely meal. Artichoke Salad Special was great and so was Blue Cheese Salad dressing. Both vegetarian pasta entrees were well prepared and tasty. We ordered Pistachio Cake to share....should have ordered two! Shout out to Chastity!
What a fantastic discovery in charming New Hope. Fresh Italian style food, great service and charming ambiance. I had the artichoke and fennel salad to begin with, followed by the perfectly stewed osso buco. As a dessert, I could not resist and took the delicious pistachio panna cotta cake. Amazing place.
My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Eve dinner. What an amazing experience. The food was phenomenal. The service was outstanding. Our server Erica went above and beyond to make our dining experience very special. And to top it off she is a multi-tasker being both a hostess and a server. She was very nice and accommodating. We both decided to get the Seafood Pappardelle dinner special because it sounded so amazing. We were right. All desserts are homemade as well.
An excellent addition to the New Hope food scene
I have to admit, when I first heard that there was a new Italian restaurant in New Hope, my first thought was "ugh, the last thing we need is another Italian place." But then I discovered that Amelia was started by one of the head chefs at The Inn at Phillips Mill!
The Inn has been one of the most loved restaurants in the area for decades, so the pedigree of Amelia is excellent.
So, how was Amelia?
The space is bright and inviting, as are the staff who greeted us. Being regulars at a number of New Hope restaurants, we really appreciate a professional staff that makes us feel welcome and comfortable. We immediately felt like Amelia was a restaurant we could enjoy coming to often.
We tried a bunch of items from the menu. Garlic bread, two salads, fried calamari, a soft-shell crab special, the pasta bolognese and a pasta with Gorgonzola sauce. All were very good to excellent with fresh ingredients prepared perfectly. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Again, the sign of an experienced staff.
All in all, we enjoyed our evening at Amelia. Great food and service at reasonable prices in a comfortable environment. Truly a great addition to the New Hope restaurant scene. We'll be sure to return soon!
