Gata not only is a renowned teacher who has garnered much praise and respect in Capoeira, she is a truly gifted teacher.
I have watched endless students both children and adult fulfill their potential not only in the art of Capoeira but personally as well here.
Music, fun, Exercise, self discipline, friendship, mentorship and passion are just a few of things you may find here.
I often recommend Gata's classes to friends and family who have children at the age of self discovery who may be more shy in expressing themselves. I've seen students of all types flourish, thrive and grow here. It is truly beautiful thing. I whole heartedly recommend a visit!

My 6 year old daughter has been taking capoeira classes for about six months and I have seen an incredible amount of growth in her strength, her confidence, and her overall self esteem. During the classes she is not only participating in the beautiful art form that is capoeira, she is also exposed to the musical side of this art and comes home singing Portuguese songs on the top of her little lungs:) The teachers are warm and encouraging as well as incredibly knowledgeable and talented. The whole community feels like a family. I feel beyond lucky to be a part of Capoeira Morro Verde!
