“Been going here for about four years and have received my first degree black belt and have received and I have been to other martial arts schools before nothing comes to the caliber of the relationship I have built with my instructors. I consider Master Reynolds and Master Cory my personal friends. If you work and train hard things tend to get easier when they say they will be harder. The instructors have a personal bond with most students and truly just want whats best for them. NHK offers a wide rang of Martial Arts and fitness classes but manly the are centered are Tang Soo Do. New Hope Karate best aspect is the friends you make and the bonds you create with your fellow students and instructors.”

“I am literally in awe of how amazing my extensions look after having them done by Victoria (the owner). I came in last week for a consult, when I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. When we got to talking about what I was there for, another stylist came over and answered a million questions I had about extensions, since she’s had them done before. (The whole experience made me feel super welcome and comfortable). When I sat with Victoria, she was friendly, accommodating, but most of all, very knowledgeable and not pushy. She showed me multiple options, and explained the pros and cons of both. We ended up making an appointment for a week later. Today I had them put in, and they look nothing short of amazing. All in all, the staff is beyond pleasant and accommodating, the salon is BEAUTIFUL and very unique, and my experience was above and beyond what I could have expected. We have a lot of great salons in the area, but I highly recommend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed.”

“Jim has been teaching my son for close to 3 years now. Even when he moved to his own studio, 15 or so more minutes away from us, we stuck with him because he truly is the Best of the Best. I once suggested giving another facility a try ONLY because of distance to our home and my son refused. He is very loyal to Jim and for good reason. He is definitely worth the extra miles!! He pushes my son to be the drummer he knows he can be but always in a positive and supportive environment. I have recommended him to friends over the years, all of whom are still receiving lessons from Mr. Hines today. That is a true testament of his talent and who he is as a teacher and as a person.”

“The Jesse Colin Young show was very nice. This was our first time to the music venue and the bar/ restaurant. The best surprise was how delicious the food was. I had the pork loin over fresh sweet corn, delicious. We also had a crabcake and salad, also delicious. Blueberry pie with ice cream for dessert was fabulous. Nice people, live music during dinner, awesome food. Thanks for a real good time!”

“Went on a Saturday, the woman working who I assume is an owner was very nice to my family. We have 2 young boys and I know that can be nerve wracking for some in an antique store. She was open to negotiating price and we walked out with a cool sled for the kids. Would definitely go back. - side note: there are a lot of art pieces in the store, so for the reviews saying there are "fakes" I don't believe the owners are trying to pass these items off as authentic antiques.. Just my opinion.”

“An amazing store in a very old house. Each room is perfectly curated by the vendor. Prices are reasonable to high. But, there is no junk! It is nice to see such a great store when so many antique store have become gift or craft shops or repositories for stuff that didn’t sell at the last garage sale.”
