“Dr. Anthony DeMarco came to my Hockessin Delaware Dental office of administer IV sedation for an extensive amount of dental work I was having done. I have EXTREMELY bad anxiety when it comes to dental work. I have to admit that I was a little trepedatious about a "mobile" anesthesia service, and so was my replacement hip surgeon who prescribed me copious amounts of antibiotics before the dental surgery. But Dr. DeMarco called me personally serveral days before the procedure. he gave me his cell phone number for any questions, any time. Upon meeting him, his calm and friendly manner set me at ease (well, as much as possible!). he explained everything in detail and admitted that even though I had experience with Propofal before, he was going to add an anti inflammatory and also some Fentanyl so that the effect didn't wear off so fast after. I was so afraid of waking up in pain with stitches in my mouth after, but he reassured me so well that this wouldn't happen. Upon placement of the IV, he was flawless. barely felt it! And the next thing I knew I was awake. I walked out of the office. Everything was a bit fuzzy for about four or five hours, which was PERFECT! I didn't want to feel the novacaine wear off. He REALLY knows his stuff. I was a very happy hypertensive dental patient in his hands!”
