I am a newer patient of Dr. Basil dealing with several things along with a new baby. He is the first doctor I have seen in his field. I was extremely nervous coming in as I'm definitely afraid of the judgment that goes along with my issues, and it's very hard for me to talk about my history. Keisha is who I have spent the most time communicating with. As everyone has stated she is extremely helpful, shows empathy, and is willing to go the extra mile to solve your issues. I have had several issues with my prior pharmacy with communication and she never showed annoyance although it must have been such. I really appreciate her in the stress filled situations. Courtney is who is there when I go in. She is very pleasant ,open, and bubbly/ friendly and I enjoy talking to her when I'm there. I have never experienced any issue in reception whatsoever. Dr Basil makes me feel very comfortable, and was willing to work with reccomendation from my OBGYN which I appreciate bc it seems doctors don't work together for patients diagnosis these days. He doesn't rush me out buy is concise in keeping our meetings and appropriate amount of time. I feel he is willing to listen and I will certainly continue as a patient here. The only issue I have had is with reaching and getting a response over the holidays. I can not fault them for that. We are all people who need a break. Keisha did handle my issue , on her own family time, and I can't express enough gratitude for that
Keisha and Dr Basil are amazing. Dr Basil has been helping me with my major depression disorder and anxiety disorder for a very long time. He’s extremely knowledgeable and gave me exactly what I needed. Their hours are very flexible and put their patients first. Keisha is also amazing on fitting you in if you need to be seen right away. They do this job because they Truly love helping and care. I recommend this place highly.
I would love to give this place 5 stars but due to a recent change in staffing I had to remove one. When I first started seeing Dr. Basil my experience was pleasurable and personal. He and the original receptionist Keisha were so nice, easy to talk to, addressed my concerns immediately, and made what is typically an uncomfortable situation very comforting. Keisha (the original receptionist) was very professional, had a pleasurable attitude, and very welcoming as the first point of contact via the phone and office. She completely all my request in a timely manner. Dr. Basil is easy to talk to and very interested in all aspect of your life so he is able to treat you accordingly.
However, my last 2 visits I dealt with a new receptionist who on the first visit barely acknowledged me entering the office, had trouble with taking payments so a line was backed up. Good thing I had cash. The second time when it was time for me to leave she was not at the desk to check me out and when she returned she told me she was sorry fo the wait but she had to touch up her make up and the bathroom is so small imthat it makes it difficult for her. Like what?? You are at work and even if that is what you were doing you don’t tell that to the patient. I did not feel comfortable with her completing some documents I had to be completed. She does not make me feel like she knows what she is doing and she definitely lacks people skills which is a key factor when working in a clinical office setting.
