Cranberry Oral Surgery: Dr. Jeffrey R. Hitchan, DMD

I recently had to have a tooth removed using anesthesia.
I never considered going to have a tooth pull a pleasant experience, but this procedure never caused any pain and very little pain post operative.

I knew I was in good hands as soon as I walked in the door. There's an air of confidence and professionalism that exudes from Dr. Hitchan and his staff. His confident and professional approach will put you at ease. He performed a difficult extraction of a molar that was brittle and broken under the gum and he excised it carefully and skillfully. He knew exactly where to put the novocaine and allowed enough time for it to take effect. I was very numb and very glad for that :)
The office is beautiful and very clean with proper COVID precautions being taken.The dental chair was comfortable.This is day 3 after the extraction and I've had very little discomfort and the socket seems to be healing quickly. I'll go back to Dr. Hitchan in a heartbeat and can happily recommend him!

I cannot begin to express how wonderful, knowledgable and compassionate Dr. Hitchan and his team are. I'm in my 40's and had a partially impacted wisdom tooth that needed to be removed. The pain it had caused me over the years was so intense at times that I finally made an appt.. I'll be frank. I was TERRIFIED. I was having literal panic attacks the weeks proceeding the appointment. I fear the dentist at the best of times. I opted for local pain management, so was awake throughout. Dr. Hitchan worked quickly and deftly and ensured that I felt no pain whatsoever. Diane, the nurse was also AMAZING and helped me get through it. The whole thing from walking in the door took about 40 minutes. After the extraction, I had some questions and Diane spoke with me 3 times to answer them and then called again to make sure all was well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Hitchan and his amazing team to anyone!

Dr. Hitchan is a stellar provider. I take provider recommendations very seriously and do not simply hand them out. Ten years ago I was a patient of Dr. Hitchan and was floored by the COMPASSIONATE, competent, high quality care provided by Dr. Hitchan and his staff. I was sent to his office directly from my endodontist. I thought I would dropping of my X-rays and be making an appointment, instead I was asked if I could wai for a few moments, they took me right back and took care of my issue. Following my experience I took my children to COS and recommended them to everyone I could.
Last week, while traveling, I had somewhat of an oral surgery emergency. Of course I called COS, they quickly located my records and we discussed my issues and how to re-establish care, since it had been 6 years since I had been seen in the office and scheduled an appointment. Dr. Hitchan was in surgery at the time of my call but he called me back in less than 2 hours. I needed an antibiotic before anything could be done. Dr. Hitchan sent a prescription to my pharmacy and then got me into a cancelation slot within a matter of days. The world needs more providers like Dr. Hitchan and the COS staff.

I do not hesitate to give a HIGH recommendation for Dr. Hitchan and his staff. My recent dental procedure there could not have been handled - even during COVID-19 times - in a more caring and professional manner. Most importantly with great results! I was pain-free less than four days after a pretty invasive procedure. This is now my family's Oral Surgery Specialist.
