Great dining experience. I happened upon this place when passing through the area and looking for something for dinner off of the interstate. It is not far from the interstate but not really downtown either. It is a unique dining experience - in a very good way. Plenty of outdoor dining space (heated) as well as good space indoors with history. The prime rib was some of the best I've had anywhere. I was very pleased all around with the food, service, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend giving it a try!
This is perhaps one of my favorite places to be. In 2005 I moved to Harmony and this place became my second home. Carl Beers and Jimmy Hiteshew made every visit an experience that I'll never forget. I'm so glad that Bob McCafferty and his wife were able to purchase this place and make it into what it is today. The outside patio and fireplace are probably one of the nicest I've ever seen. Their attention to detail, the food, the beer, music, staff, ambiance, etc. is phenomenal. I love the Harmony Inn. Prost!!
We were there for the new years eve events in Harmony...the Inn is beautiful and we were shown to a nice private room for the 6 of us. Waitress was very nice, not sure if she was busy with other tables but there were large gaps in her check-ins with us...my meal was delicious but 2 other people at the table mentioned that their side dishes were not warm....all in all I would go back though
Delicious food complemented by attentive, friendly staff and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere with historic charm.
The potato pancake appetizer was paired with a fruit chutney and was large enough for at least 2 people to share. The "Girl from the North Country" burger and the "Beef on Weck" sandwich were both delicious, with both featuring quality meat, fresh buns, and a good portion of well-seasoned fries on the side.
Prices felt fair for the quality of the dishes. Looking forward to returning!
