    Decent place to stay near ALB at a reasonable rate. Our Scout troop invaded 2 separate nights at the start and end of our trip. Staff were fantastic. Shuttle was so helpful we tipped big. Otherwise you'll need Uber/Lyft or your own car to get anywhere. Rooms are OK, a little worn but clean. AC nice and strong. Upstairs plumbing was better than downstairs (new toilet, betting draining tub/shower). Breakfast was surprisingly good. Overall, a very good experience.

    Cannot recommend this school enough. They worked with me closely to get setup and answered so many of my questions. The planes are all fantastic.

    My instructor Alex is absolutely awesome. I leave each lesson feeling like I learned something and am more and more confident in control of the plane.

    Keep doing what you are doing.

    Learning how to fly. They are doing a great job teaching me. Highly recommended.

    My son had interest in learning to fly so we scheduled time for an hour lesson based upon a friend’s recommendation. Cameron was my son’s instructor and he did an incredible job communicating and instructing about flying—my son learned so much! This was an amazing experience and he loves the idea of being a pilot even more. Scheduling this lesson, having questions answered beforehand and during the flight, and then arriving to the location was all easy and pleasant. If you have the opportunity and desire to learn, I highly recommend High Flight Academy! So grateful to have learned about this place!

    Very impressive! Hannah is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. We will be selecting her as our flight instructor when the time comes... Hopefully, Hannah will be a part of the High Flight Academy team for a long time!

    Took my son for his first discovery flight this past Saturday, Sept 11, 2021. Much fun. The whole experience from check-in to departure was excellent. Professional greeting, fantastic / safe instructor, and clean aircraft. We flew for an hour and had a 30 minute pre-flight instruction session. Highly recommend High Flight Academy!
