What a great group of believers! If you are looking for a church family that is welcoming, accepting, and supportive, you have found it! PBC has been home for many years and is an awesome place to grow your faith and worship.

This is a truly Bible based church. The church members are kind, and the Pastor preaches from the Bible. If you really want a deep understanding of Scripture, you can learn that here. The church is also involved in nursing home and homeless shelter ministries. There's a youth group and children's program as well.

An adorable little non-denominational assembly of believers located smack dab in the middle of Portersville, PA. I've had the privilege of hanging out with some of the members and have even gone on a mission trip to one of the shelters in the Pittsburgh Area. Many religious organizations throw money at Missionary organizations and let them do the hard work And I'm not knocking them for their generosity, however, it was such a blessing to see a local assembly stepping outside of the normal comfort zone for a Suburban/rural Assembly such as this. I don't mean to stereotype them at all because my entire point is that they do not fit the typical stereotype from what I have observed. Many people and many assemblies that are far from the inner city worship on Sunday, have Bible study on Wednesday and give a little extra to a missionary, who comes in to give them an update from time to time, which is all wonderful. But I think it robs the average member of the blessing of actually putting on boots and marching into the mission field to reach a hand out To the homeless and the hungry. If you think giving money makes you feel good. You oughta try serving food at a homeless shelter or visiting a prison ministry. I'm just telling you from experience, you will get more out of it than you ever imagined. The Bible says, "... whenever you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me."

Portersville Bible Church is a great place, full of caring people. It is a diverse group of people with a desire to reach the community with the love of Christ. The Pastor preaches through the Bible, one book at a time, a verse at a time, getting the whole meaning of the text, and helping everyone see how to apply it to their lives. The music is a mix of the old hymns and songs, as well as newer music. If you want to be involved, there are many opportunities to do so.

Portersville Bible Church is a wonderful place to worship Christ through singing, prayer, and true biblically based preaching. The people that attend this church treat you like family. They are welcoming, loving, and caring. The church has a nursery, children's program, youth group, adult sunday school class, and other Bible studies and ministries that anyone and everyone can become involved with.
