“We hired Spectrum to take care of tick issues in our yard and also bees. We have the quarterly treatment done for our yard, and we do not have issues with ticks anymore. Also, the treatment takes care of other bugs. We have been very pleased with their services. All the guys have been professional, very friendly, thorough, answer questions and they have been here quickly to take care of our bee issues. We were concerned about having this done because we have dogs and we were worried about their safety. They use pet friendly products. We would recommend them to our family and friends!”

“Excellent customer service. Helped me figure which items I needed to fix a hose and then suggested I get a whole new house instead because the components cost more than a new hose. Fast, efficient key-making machine. Friendly employees!”

“Highly recommended! I called with multiple questions- needed tuckpointing on two chimneys, chimney caps to keep out the raccoons, and an inspection/cleaning of an old wood-burning stove. Scott came out for an inspection and gave me great advice- namely that I would need major repairs and updates to safely use the stove- so he advised me against spending the money to clean it unless I intended to commit to the rest of the project. Scott took his time and explained quite a bit to me. I was in a bit of a hurry to get the chimney work done because I had my new roof on hold waiting for the chimney repairs. Brian came out within a day or two to give me an estimate, then was able to sneak me into his schedule for the next week. Each time they said they would be there, they were. And everything was thoroughly cleaned up before they left! I have two awkwardly placed chimneys and had received multiple repair estimates. Some refused the job, others gave me estimates which were much higher than Good Knight's Sweep. One contractor wanted me to rent a manlift for $1000. Scott and Brian set up scaffolding- off of my upper deck for one of the chimneys, around the power lines for the other- and somehow made it look easy. Brian did the tuckpointing and replaced the crowns on two chimneys- the work was pristine, and they even went back up at the end of the day to clean up a small drip that I never would have noticed. Scott dropped a mothball in the chimneys to keep the raccoons out, then replaced the caps. I have had multiple consultations on how to get the raccoons out long enough to cap the chimneys, all were ridiculously expensive and involved trapping/killing the raccoons- so this solution was amazing. Fees for the caps were also lower than other quotes I received. Finally, I just want to say that these are such nice guys! Scott removed an old antenna that was on my roof and hauled it away. Brian cleaned up some unsightly discoloration on the side of my home that the HVAC guys had left. They could have easily said "sure, I'll do it for $50" or whatever- but both things were done really just as a favor. I'm not someone that normally writes reviews, but honestly just can't say enough good things about these guys. If you need any type of chimney or fireplace work, just call them and look no further.”

“Some of their prices can be a bit high and the availability of certain products is horrible but they're the only store downtown besides Miller's Meats and rite aid where you can buy groceries. Their location and convenience is great. I especially like an employee named Joe that works at the Dollar General location on North Main Street in Butler, PA. She is always so friendly, helpful and always smiling!!!”

“Very professional. Re-finished our living room floor and one bedroom floor. 60+ year old flooring. Did a very good job at matching the dining room and hallway wood floor color and finish. Even replaced boards due to staining damage and it looked very nice. Fairly expensive, but worth the cost. Would recommend.”

“We can't say enough good things about Harpel's Contracting. Owner, Jim Harpel is super responsive and really listened to us when we asked for a bid for our kitchen remodel. Jim's company has been in Butler for 30 years and advertises superior quality, superior service, and high work ethics and they hit a home run with us, rounding all those bases. Russ Kerr, Company Superintendent at Harpel's, and Earl were fantastic to work with. Very professional and very skilled. Our kitchen, once the worst room in the house, is now the our favorite room in the house. This was a total transformation!”

“It is a priviledge to write this review to commend Paul Grant of PGRC Contracting (My Bath) on he and his company's outstanding execution of our complete bathroom remodel. Upon interviewing four other contractors, two of whom we never heard back from and two others that declined some of the work such as one didn't want to do the demo, one didn't want to do the tile work, etc. I explored Angie's List to acquire names of local contractors. I reached out to Paul and immediately received a return phone call. From the moment we communicated I was very impressed with his professionalism and courteous nature in addressing my concerns and requirements for our bath remodel. I mentioned that I was not familiar with his company and inquired if he could provide referrals. He suggested that I take a look at the reviews and pictures on his various links and website. He assured me that he and his company were competent to complete a complete demolition of our bathroom which included flooring that was secured to a concrete base, tiled shower walls and bathroom walls and a bath tub as we were wanting to transition to a walk in shower. I had secured the tile for the shower using a mixture of tiles and colors, a piece of furniture to be converted and used as the bathroom vanity, the quartz vanity top, and also found oak walls at a local savage company. I did not want bead board or ship lap for walls and was thrilled to find the oak walls with nice attached molding. The oak walls were in sections at the salvage yard which would require a skilled carpenter to piece the sections together in an attractive arrangement to be attached to the three walls opposite the shower stall. Justin, Paul's carpenter did a superb job arranging the molded walls to create a beautiful quality design. My husband and I are so thrilled with the end result. The shower stall is equally beautiful with the various styles and sizes of tiles to include both staggered and stacked wall tiles, interconnected with mosaic tiles in a section of the wall and additionally in the niche. The threshold into the shower was yet an additonal tile color and choice and it all came together awesomely. My husband wanted to acquire ONE team that could complete all tasks of our remodel to include demolition, removal of debris, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling, and painting of the walls. Paul assured me his company could complete all tasks and in a timely manner which was under two days shy of three weeks. Every day the contractors arrived and started work by 8:30 am and worked every day until 4:30 and many days until 5:30 with no breaks or even lunch. So impressive. Prior to the contractors leaving at the end of every day, vacuuming and removal of any materials and debris was completed. My bathroom design was not your typical design, many details required planning and intricate details. Justin was so competent and never frustrated to get the perfect results. Paul addressed and redid the subfloor as he was not satisfied with the play in the purchased wood and replaced it, also three flooring tiles had a slight shift and onced dried, pryed them off and redid those as well. Perfection and many intricate details was key with every aspect of the project which exemplified their abilities, integrity and work ethic. I can't begin to express our overall positive experience and stunning results of our bathroom. Should you desire a remodel for any project in your home, I would not waste your time searching contractors....begin and end with Paul Grant of PGRC/My Bath...it is worth every dime.”
