“What a unique experience!! An art gallery, restaurant and bar in a historic factory. The food is fresh and delicious. The décor is the perfect blend of a rustic building frame with modern interior design. The big surprise is the glass box that allows you to see the aqueduct flowing below the building! All designed by the artist Victor Stabin who gave us a personal tour of the museum and showed us his animation film which is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed!”

Located across the alley from the Opera House, it is close to the main Street but tucked into a quiet corner. They do NOT take credit/debit cards so be aware of that upfront. But the lady who owns the shop is friendly, helpful and informative and is more than happy to share patterns, hints, etc with visitors to her shop.”

“This is one of my favorite little places to go when I'm in the town of Jim Thorpe, and has been since I was a kid. They have the best hotdogs I've ever had (Chili Dog is like no other). I absolutely love that they haven't changed the old-school nature of the cart. Now I take my daughter to the Doggie Wagon. One Saturday while driving her to get a hotdog I said: "I hope someday when you're older, you remember coming to the Doggie Wagon, because it's a great memory to have." “One of my favorite hiking trails to visit. Beautiful scenery and incredible waterfalls. If you hike up past all the falls and follow the trail there is one of the best views there is in PA. Better than the pa grand canyon for sure. The trails are perfect for experienced hikers who like a challenge. I would not recommend for small children and the trail to the falls is almost impossible to get to in the winter.”
