(June 29, 2018, 9:21 pm)I recently attended a wedding here and it was just beautiful! The ceremony was outside as well as the cocktail portion, and the dinner and dancing took place in a large enclosed patio area. (It looked to me that the enclosure could be removed for other types of events and good/bad weather)
The building is gorgeous. It's historic, so there's a shabby chic, rustic romantic vibe. Think strung up lights, purposefully mismatched chairs, a fire pit... just perfect for an intimate wedding.
The food and service was excellent. The wait and bar staff were super friendly and personable. They made easy conversation and jokes with guests. Everyone seemed like they genuinely enjoy working there.
I would definitely recommend having a celebration here!

(April 23, 2018, 7:58 am)It's the home of General Wayne, the only Commander and chief not also to be president. The house is interesting to go through. Each of the rooms are set up as they would be for each of the periods the Wayne's lived there.
The place is small but we enjoyed it. It is not a "living history" place.
When we visited a Revolutionary war regret was there doing a reenactment.
