“I never knew there were churches like this until I started coming in March 2018. Willowdale doesn’t celebrate pagan holidays like most churches. They don’t celebrate Easter with eggs and rabbits, they celebrate the resurrection of Christ. I didn’t see any celebration of Halloween either, not even candy in trunks or whatever. I did get an email from the head pastor about all saints day and how it applies to us. Just as Christ instructed they don’t take a begging bag. There is a box in the back for donations and you can also tithe through their website, but they never pass a plate and they also don’t give sermons on tithing. They spend their time teaching Gods word instead. They have so many programs and support groups to help people: special needs, addiction, financial, marriage to name a few. Basically if you have a problem and they don’t have a program for it I think they would find a way to help. They are genuine. I can feel the love overflowing from all of the pastors and staff. Even the congregation seems to be genuine. This church is truly a sanctuary. Their is no evil there.”
