The Salty Cow

We ordered salads and it was great to have a nice deck to sit outside. Food was good. Service was slow because it appears they only had two employees working (not their fault). Consider adding one more staff to the front side of the restaurant. Other than that, no complaints!

The location is peaceful and serene. The interior is homey and very spacious. Good quality tables and chairs. Employees are friendly and they have a full ice cream parlor style freezer and serving station right up front! Best of both worlds. A real gem, will return. ALSO pizza was phenomenal, good flavor but not fake, crust was very tasty. Have to get ice cream next time! :)

We go here a few times a year. Burgers and pizza are standard fare, not spectacular, but pretty darn good for the price point. If you like spicy, the Nashville Hot pizza or chicken sandwich are hot, excellent spice! The real winner is the ice cream. I get chocolate marshmallow with whipped cream, but every flavor I've tried is great.

It's a BYOB kind of place, so bring the kids, a couple beers, get some good food and ice cream, enjoy the park out back. Makes for a great evening.

Different Cheesesteak #915. When my kids were young The Salty Cow would have been in the rotation for when we took the kids out to eat and we wanted ice cream. The roll and meat were standard. The homemade whiz was a nice touch. Ice Cream and maybe pizza is the way to go here.
