(December 20, 2017, 10:20 am)We have had two children graduate from Montgomery School and have one child in his “senior year” (8th Grade). We left our public school because we weren’t satisfied with the educational and other opportunities that our children were getting there. Since we became part of the Montgomery family, we have not looked back. Here are a few examples of what makes Montgomery so great in our view:
Strong Friendships: My son, who is in college, established friendships at Montgomery with a group of kids who are still very close friends today. The bonds they formed at Montgomery through their common experiences here till keep them together today even though they all are in colleges from the East Coast to the West Coast.
Leadership: My daughter entered high school after 4 years at Montgomery with confidence in herself and her leadership skills. She and another Montgomery classmate became the 2 representatives for their class on the high school Honor Council and this year my daughter is President. Montgomery gave her the foundational skills to have the courage and confidence to run for this position and to serve with compassion, dedication and thoughtfulness.
Character: At a recent Cross Country meet, I overheard the coach of the other team reprimanded her students (and parents) that they should comport themselves like the Montgomery kids! -

(December 19, 2017, 1:53 pm)Our daughter thrived at Montgomery School. They instilled a love of learning in her that is still with her today in high school. Each teacher knew her and challenged her. The emphasis on public speaking in all grades is originally what attracted us to the school, and now I can say that the teachers, the academics, the great opportunities to try different sports and also the emphasis on the arts are all reasons that we love Montgomery. The school's focus in character shows through in all aspects of the school. And I must add - the beautiful campus that they use as an extension of their science program is amazing. The students get fresh air during the day and really enjoy the open space. Wish I could have gone there!!

(December 12, 2017, 11:59 am)Moving our children from public school was a challenging decision but once we settled into Montgomery School, we knew right away it was the very best choice we could have made for them. They are offered with a balance of strong and creative academics, individualized instruction and consistent attention to strong character development.
