“I live around the corner from Highland Orchards (lucky me!) and I can’t say enough great things about them! From countless field trips, birthday parties, apple picking, pumpkin picking and an occasional run to them for cider donuts (omg don’t get me started on their legendary cider donuts) this is the kind of place that makes home feel like home. Over the years when I had spare time we go with the kids, feed the goats, pick something, play in the playground and depending on the season grab fresh flowers or produce and always bump into friends and neighbors. An instant pick me up at every visit. Staff are fantastic. The atmosphere is always fun. I just visited today to purchase all my teachers gifts-you know the apple theme with teachers. They have the best market for gifts. And gift cards! A season doesn’t change in our house without a visit to this orchard and market and a ton of memories are made every time. Please make a point to go and do not leave without a dozen cider donuts! 5 stars plus!!”

I know more and more bakeries are starting to pop up around the Philly area, but this place is just so so special and if you live around here definitely check them out. They are usually at the Phoenixville farmers market and have their breads in Kimberton Whole Foods, Weavers Way and other health food stores. Their chocolate chip cookies are top notch as well.
