This is a great place wether you are nobo or sobo, this means whatever it took to get here you only have to do it 1 more time and you completed your through hike. It was neat to be here.

Current midpoint of Appalachian trail. The place is marked with some kind of a totem pole, stating there are about 1090 miles of the trail left in either direction.
With the distance of AT changing almost yearly, there is no guarantee the pole will be there next year. Please keep updating its location
