It was rainy and foggy but it was still very scenic! Good run to the top.
Original Center point of the Appalachian trail right here in Central PA! Great hike to get there including climbing rocks and overlooks.
Spring time is best for this hike. Many wild flowers along trail and smells of honeysuckle and other flowers fill the air. Try to pick a warm breezy day as it is a workout to top. Several good water source but must have filter like Sawyer. A perfect out and back day hike.
Great hike from the Children's Lake in Boiling Springs. There is plenty of parking. It's almost 6 miles to the point and back, a good hike for first timers or for kids.
Awesome view on top of a steep hill! Great place to set your pack down for a second and catch your breath. Also, I had great cell phone service here :)
