  Hiked up the Lehigh Gap trail along the AT doing a loop hike. White trail up to the flats then blue trail down for 2.5 miles of steeps both ways. Very steep with areas that includes getting down on hands and knees to scramble. Views of the Lehigh River and the valley are great.

  Did a section hike of the Appalachian Trail from Wind Gap to Lehigh Gap, southbound. A lot of diversity of ecosystems along the way, some great views and 1 difficult descent at Lehigh (if you're heading north it's just as tough to ascend) so if you are afraid of heights or have trouble with vertical climbing you might want to skip the Lehigh Gap end.
  
  If you plan on hiking the southern section, from Lehigh Gap to Little Gap bring water. The old zinc mining operation there has made the water unsafe to drink, even filtered.

  Perfect trail for me. Love the incline, rock climbing and sight seeing. Don't do if you're afraid if heights. Bad knees don't like the descent!

  Large lake and serious fishing, boating and very nice camping and cottage rentals.

  Actually we were hiking from blue mountain rd. to wind gap. First weekend of April. Perfect weather for hiking with Boy Scout troop 122.
