I am a direct bloodline descendant of John Morton. I grew up visiting the homestead all the time as a kid as I only lived a few minutes away from it. It is interesting knowing you are tied to such history; and to someone who signed the Declaration of Independence. I was in town recently for my father's funeral and passed by it. It definitely needs some upkeep. A must for local history buffs.
