She took the mess on my head and made me feel beautiful with a subtle partial highlight that blended my ombré perfectly. Also the cut was perfect as well. “I visited this for the first time in December to get my hair done for the Jay Z concert. Booked my appointment online and paid the required deposit. Tiana style me, I love my hair it was nice, bouncy and healthy looking. The interior design of the salon was really elegant! The only negative I have is that they have a no kids policy, which wasn't stated anywhere on the website or the IG. I showed up with my sleeping 10 month old!! I respect the policy and was able to have someone come pick my baby up. Although most salons have the same policy, they should have the noted on all their social sites. Otherwise, I LOVED my hair!”

The only downside was a system glitch that happen and charged my car double for a wax pass. I felt like customers should’ve been given the opportunity to extend it for another month instead of more than $200 bucks coming out of my account. When speaking with the manager she said well your done for the entire year which is beside the point. If it weren’t for Mikaela I would have left. Common courtesy goes a long way.”

“I'm a woman, and after twenty years of long hair, I decided to get my hair buzzed two years ago, citing irritation at the upkeep--however, from the outset, every salon and barber I went to following the initial cut couldn't execute a reasonable hairstyle on me. Many times they'd seem decent at first, but after a day or two, it'd become apparent that the style was choppy, unruly, uneven, etc etc, and couldn't tolerate being in 'the wild'. Because of that, I was reluctant to get my hair cut again too soon just to have to wait a few more months for it to grow out from a bad cut and start all over again, but I finally decided it had gotten out of hand and I needed to take the plunge. Luckily, I work at a store near Make Your Mark and Chase and Mark often stop in for lunch or coffee. They' d cut some of my male coworkers hair really nicely, and so after asking them if they'd be alright taking me as well, I decided to stop in this Tuesday (that's their walk-in only day) to get my look cleaned up. Chase was the one who did my hair, and honestly, I cannot cannot cannot stress how happy I am with the results! He listened patiently and attentively to my concerns respecting my previous haircuts, and very indulgently let me watch the whole process in the mirror, even warning me when he was going to turn me away from it haha. He kept asking for my input and didn't rush ahead, so I was able to slowly get in my head how much I wanted him to cut my hair, and into what shape. I went into that shop looking wild, and came out look crisp. And more importantly than the initial look, my hair (which is curly bordering on frizzy) withstands bed and hat hair like a charm, something NONE of my other cuts have done in the two years since my hair was shorn. Plus, the price is absurdly reasonable given the quality of the cut.. I have nothing but good things to say about the store, and about Chase for being such a chill, thoughtful, and skillful barber. Both the store and the people operating just cannot be beat. If you're looking for a new barber, these are your guys.”

Finally, a friend that works at UPS mentioned me Eddie’s Barbershop, made an appointment, got my hair cut and I was treated with great respect and kindness. The location is great for me, and the BEST, Eddie’s Barbershop is wheelchair accessible, plus accessible restroom for wheelchairs. I recommend this place and even though it is a walk in Barbershop, it is always good to call and make an appointment with any of the guys, and the girl that cut hair too. She is great!”
