We have been buying our tires (new, used and/or recaps) for many years at Mouser's Garage Tire Center.

There have been a few times that the attendant tightened the lugs too much (not on purpose). When we had to remove the lugs to change a flat or take our tire off for whatever reason, my Hubbee either had a very VERY difficult time or couldn't remove the lugs at all. Since then, we've always reminded the attendant to not over-tighten our lugs. They've never had a problem with us asking or with them doing it.

The one thing that really disappointed us during out most recent visit was how much the price increased for 2 recaps. What we used to pay for 2 tires is now darn near the price for just one! I know that prices have gone up on 99.9% of items and services since the whole pandemic mess, but it's just a shock to the system when an item nearly doubles in price. What makes it even more difficult to take is that prices increase, but pay rates do not. I understand that businesses are also trying to stay afloat, but it's getting harder to survive in this new world standard.
