“I am so happy we went here! I will try to make this as short as I can. The last time I purchased a vehicle was approximately 16 years ago so I was very hesitant. Just due to the fact that I was by myself at the time and I feel like the particular place took advantage of that. This time around I changed that for myself and I did a lot of homework and research about purchasing a car. I did make an appointment with Dayton. The night before I was reading about Jim Shorkey, why he started his business, etc. I found myself laying there getting all teary eyed because it hit me that we were going to the right place. Also the fact that they are consultants and not sales people and they don't work on a commission base meant the world to me. So we had to stop at the bank for a cashier's check for the down payment and they were so busy and that put us behind schedule about 45-60 minutes. I hate being late! So I was panicking, I called and let them know. Dayton kept reassuring me it was fine, he even told me that he put us in the schedule for 30 minutes later(I think he just told me that so I would feel better) The moment we walked in, I immediately felt like we were part of the family every staff member greeted us, there was 0 pressure for us to buy anything, Dayton was understanding, patient, kind the whole nine, and Ray the finance guy was fantastic, he took his time, explained everything so we could understand it , he even explained the difference between the two finance companies so we could make the best decision. This was the ABSOLUTE BEST car buying experience I have ever had! Thank You Todd Zuzak for highly recommending Jim Shorkey to us! Oh and they fed us pizza while we were there waiting!! I have never seen or heard of a car dealership doing that! We ended up buying a 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, I freaking LOVE my new car, I mean LOVE it. “Edited: The buying process was easy and simple. However, I didn’t even have my SUV for 30 days and already had to use the warranty on it and pay out of pocket. What they don’t tell you is with the warranty, you still have to pay diagnostic fees, taxes, and they don’t cover anything extra. I didn’t even drive mine for 500 miles and it needed a water pump, which was covered by the warranty but NONE of the fluids or gaskets were. So while I didn’t have to pay the labor and parts portion; I still paid over $300 out of pocket. We had it for two days and replaced the blend door actuator ourselves because it blew ice cold air on the passenger side. When we contacted them, we got told the GM had been driving it with no issues. Extremely frustrating. I get I bought a used car but these were issues that should have been fixed before delivery to us. Wow, what can I say. I stumbled across this place by accident and I am so glad I did. The absolute best customer service I have ever experienced in 37 years! And I do a lot of car buying. I never stepped foot in this dealership or Even near it and felt like I had known Erica my entire life. The whole process was so simple and smooth. And they delivered it with a smile on their face. I’ve been a loyal customer to another dealer for 7 years and I do believe I just found my new place to buy from. Thank you for such a great experience!!!!!”
