You can park at Bear Valley ranger station and there are many trails to Sky Camp. Some are steep and technical. The shortest trail is parking at Sky Trail parking lot and coming in from there.
Getting there from the Bear Valley Visitor Center is easy- follow HWY 1 south for 9 miles and turn right onto Olema-Bolinas Rd. We hiked from the Bear Valley ranger station to Wildcat in Mid-Sept and it was a relatively easy hike through the woods.

Continue a few hundred feet to main Park entrance, Bear Valley Ranger Station HQ, etc. Weekdays you can ride down the main road to the coast. Weekends and holidays that road is closed to horses, but other trails are available.
