“Our baby’s smile is back, thanks to Pediatric Specialists! While visiting from out of state, our six month old contracted a cold and was soon quite labored in his breathing. Thanks to a family friend, Sarah, who is a nurse at PS, we were able to get him help RIGHT AWAY--and with the best of care at that! Dr. Rishi, who owns the practice, came in to meet us for an afternoon appointment that same day, and the front office folks even helped us figure out billing, since our insurance didn't view an office visit as covered. As for the appointment itself, Dr. Rishi dedicated a great deal of time to hearing our baby's medical history and to examining him, and so we left the office with a whole plan of attack. We saw results THAT NIGHT, thanks to their comprehensive treatment for his respiratory infection; they even provided us options for further action, should he require it: Dr. Rishi wrote a standing order for a chest x-ray, should we need it, so we could go straight to the ER and have it done. And as a doc who has admitting privileges at the hospital, she said she could admit him if he’s really bad off or see him again for a follow up check, should we want—any day! In short, everyone at the Pediatric Specialists of Franklin County was amazing—they did everything in their power to help our son and get him back to health. And they didn't even know us beforehand! We are SO grateful for this office and the doctors, nurses, and staff who truly cared enough to go the extra mile. You don't always see that in a health care provider, but as I've talked to folks in town, this is apparently standard procedure for Pediatric Specialists. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you all so much for how you helped us!”
