Amazing place to stay at for a fellowship retreat. The brothers and sisters there were very accomodating, loving, and extremely helpful. We lacked absolutely nothing and the price was great too!! Definitely have this on the top of your list if you're looking to book a place for a fellowship retreat.
Came here for the 131st anniversary retreat for my church a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience. The staff were all friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Food is by far the best far I have ever experienced at a retreat center (a sentiment echoed by every one of my church members who can be quite picky). The facilities and activities on the premises are plentiful and kept our group of 50ish people of all ages occupied and happy. Shoutout to Matt who helped me coordinate all of this, and was extremely laidback, flexible, and relaxed with the booking process. Looking forward to many more retreats in the future!
I had a really amazing time bonding and having fun with my church at this neat Bible retreat. I think I read somewhere that the retreat is a Methodist retreat. The people running the campus were very nice friendly and I could see that they are real good people. One of the guys told us a few things about tix that I didn’t know and he cleared up a few myths for me and gave us a little bit of information about the summer programs they run on campus and the work they do with the youth it sounds like they have a really great summer camp. The food was amazingly yummy. There was always something to do we never got bored. I brought snacks that I didn’t touch and the only time I reach for my iPhone was to take pictures of with the great time we were having. The weekend started Friday evening with a lovely meal A salad and pizza with seeds in the crust. The main lunch Hall doubled as a gymnasium. Upstairs was a quaint reckroom where the youth like to hang out. After supper we had a very good meeting in this really nice meeting area full of windows all over for a little bonding time. Afterward we got our T-shirts I couldn’t stop playing with the ski ball game it was a lot of fun and we settled in for a comfortable night of sleep. We woke up the next morning to gather for a morning walk and talk around the campus we had a great breakfast and did a few more activities Like checking out with the youth were doing And song service before Sabbath school begin in the pavilion. After sabbath school we gathered around for a group Photo In the main quad. We had a pretty challenging Sabbath afternoon hike on the campus. My mom and I also had a nice time playing miniature golf. For the folks that decided not to go hiking they were able to take a refreshing dip in the pool. The campus also has a lot of really nice porch sitting where we could sit and talk to each other it was relaxing. For the evening we went out for a blazing bonfire and played Bible trivia. Before settling in for a second night of peaceful sleep . Sunday morning breakfast was excellent but it started raining and it was time to pack up and set out to travel back home anyway I had a lovely time at the retreat hope to do it all over again someday.
This is an amazing place for camping and retreat. The director Matt is a wonderful human with outstanding skills of Christian communication and cooking. Really helpful employees. Feels like a family when you visit here. Great place, great amenities, great experience.
We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and were welcomed with open arms. The staff is amazing! Immediately we felt as though we were family. The food was delicious and the programming excellent. I highly recommend PMBC for your own retreats as well as the ones they offer, you will not regret it! We were blessed to be there.
