Great information on how to treat Alzheimer's disease.
The doctor took the time to look over all of the MRI scans that I had done and even made comparisons to the older ones. I was amazed at how much we were able to see and understand about my brain - and at the same time didn't know why the radiology team who was paid to read my scans never said much other than "changes". When you see an area in your brain on an MRI that was not there years ago you start to respect any of the reasons. Dr. Orehek and Kylah arranged tests that found out the reason for the damage and now I am being treated by a specialist in CT who has seen this problem before.
Friendly office staff and the doctor is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you have a family member with Alzheimer's or dementia, or you are worried about getting it yourself.
I am 27 years old and had some word finding problems. I went to my local doctor and even then a neurology team. They didn't address my concerns or order any testing to find out what could be going on. I went here and a very organized plan was arranged. The doctor was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns about my health. The doctor also arranged referrals for me to see other specialists. We were surprised to discover the problem and the treatment ended up being inexpensive. I'm so happy yo have found this place and doctor and highly recommend them!
I was able to also see a lot of the information they have posted on youtube. I liked that there seems to be a plan and not just some change in the diet as so many other places/authors tell me. There seems to be some hope in finding out what could cause my memory problems. My mother had memory problems and died when she refused to go for a surgery that she needed - it did not work out good for her, but I was worried about the memory issues.
