Riverside is an amazing place filled with people who really care. Every time I visit my sister she is always happy and only has nice things to say about therapy and the nurses. The building is always clean, fresh and tidy. They helped my sister get back on her feet after she fell at home and I will always be grateful to them.
I was forced with the difficult task of having to place my grandmother in a facility for short term therapy after a hip surgery. It seemed daunting at first, but after meeting with the admissions director in the hospital, we were put at ease. The process was explained in terms we were able to understand and I had him admitted by 6 pm that same day. The facility was clean and the staff were extremely welcoming. The therapy department was amazing and got her stronger than we ever imagined. The rooms were spacious and recently remodeled, and she absolutely loved the food. At the end of the day the caring staff made all the difference and if we ever had to utilize their services again we would not hesitate!
The activities department here is fabulous. I love playing guitar and singing for the residents. They really enjoy when I come. All of the staff have treated me very nice. I did not witness any unusual behavior while I was here. The residents gave me a list of songs they want me to play for them when I return. I am looking forward to it. Thank you again for another opportunity to brighten up everyone's day.
