“My step-father recently completed his second stay at Dunmore Health Care Center after recovering from a fall and hip replacement. From the moment you enter the building you feel welcomed. Alicia greets you at the front desk and the lobby is always decorated for each season. We found this a comfortable place to sit by the fireplace with my step-dad for visits. On warmer days we also enjoyed the enclosed pavilion. My step-dad has dementia and the staff was accommodating, understanding and compassionate with his needs. The therapists were all very nice and the activities director encouraged him to participate in various events and activities during his stay. We chose Dunmore after two other family members had positive experiences with short term stays there and we will continue to recommend it to family and friends based on my step-dad’s two most recent experiences.”
