Great place to visit in March to see the snow geese migration.
The spring migration of late February/early March is a great time to stop at Willow Point, though of course the weather systems make the day to day bird count hard to predict. Even on a low count day it's a nice flat walk and a nice view.
I love it there. Its so beautiful and wild life is just amazing. And its all free. You can ask for help too.
Great place to take a short walk. There is a pavilion with tables. An outhouse is provided and it's sits away from the pavilion which is in the grassy area. A couple of pay binoculars are available. This is a place many will take nature pictures. It does not allow access to the water. But does have great views of nature and the birds. Many geese, ducks, some swan, and heron
