Excellent tour. The docent was especially knowledgeable. The house has been restored to the pre-revolutionary war era of its orginal Quaker beginnings. Susanna Wright had links to Ben Franklin and other early Pennsylvanians.
Remarkable home of a remarkable woman, Susanna Wright. The furniture and artifacts are beautiful, period accurate (1700-1750) and authentic. What a gem! The architectural restoration is also right on.
Fascinating story of brave settlers. Ferry house is beautifully restored and accurate to the 1700 period. Excellent tour guide.
Great tour guides give you many insights into the early settlement of Columbia. Furnished with items from the correct time period. Tour is about an hour.
Liz was our tour guide today and the title doesn't befit her as she is so much more. Liz showed how passionate she is of the history of Susanna Wright and the museum and it's exquisite artifacts. Thank you for having such a delightful, intelligent individual who made our morning a most memorable one to remember.
Sincerely,
Jeanette Dalton
