(October 7, 2017, 7:44 am)I have been a customer over the past few months and this place has by far the best service around. Not only service that sets them apart they beat there competitions price by a good bit. I have checked with quite a few other local places and everyone else is higher priced. At Crystal Lake they give you as full of a scoop as they can make it of sand, stone, mulch, or whatever you order. They even customize and will give you a half scoop if you want. A neighboring landscape supply company has an additional charge for half scoops but not this company! Thanks for this service goes to Dean and the rest of the excellent team at Crystal Lake!
(May 9, 2017, 10:07 am)Have been a customer for three or four years, generally making an order or two for $200 per year for topsoil or garden compost. My first couple annual orders were excellent.
This year, not so much. Long story short, they didn't respond to emails and the delivery was missing a good amount of product. Honestly, not sure what happened, but the service in previous years was pretty good to excellent. They have a great delivery price and I'm not picky on when things get delivered, so long as they get delivered. I was previously a very happy customer.
Edit: After putting up the review, I was contacted and they did deliver the balance of the order. The owner admitted they had dropped the ball and offered to refund the delivery cost of $20. Good enough.
