(June 24, 2014, 7:51 pm)My husband and I were part of the hail storm in May that hit Wyomissing and didn't get our settlement until about 3 or 4 weeks out. So it was slim pickin's in the Reading area. We looked all over on line and called places, etc. Everyone else seems to have a "great deal" that will draw you to the place, then it's sold when you get there! At least 5 places we tried were like that. Then we were so happy to have found the 2006 VW Passat online, of course thinking it was just another lure to get us in. So we called and Allan said it was still available much to our surprise! We went out to take a look, didn't show too much interest at first, skeptical like most car buyers in our level of affordability. Allan just shook our hands, said have a good night and that was that! No pushy salesman - even at a time when he really could've capitalized on the whole hail storm issue. We went back a couple days later and it was still there! So we drove it and loved it! Actually, we drove several that we loved - hard time picking between the Volvo and Passat. This guy has cars that are priced perfect for us - a working class family who wants to have a finer thing. He's not looking to rip anyone off and he's just a "good guy". He went above and beyond fixing up a couple things inside even after we already paid for the car! Not too many five-star client service people out there, but Allan is definitely one of them!!
