  I drove by this place after it closed and was very disappointed that I couldn't pick up some chicken pot pies. Last weekend, I was driving down rt 15, crossed into MD from PA... And saw a market on my right, about 50-ish miles South of Harrisburg. The name of the market is Catoctin Mountain Orchard. I decided to stop and was surprised to see the Zook's pies in their freezer... Beef and chicken. There were only 2 of each left, and I got the last 2 chicken. I baked one tonight. I followed the instructions and baked it in my little toaster oven. It was perfect! There are huge chunks of chicken pieces, and it didn't run all over as I thought it would when I was cutting a slice. The crust was delicious!! The pie was so yummy! I'm going to get more the next time I drive by that market since it is closer to me than Lancaster. Highly recommended.

  These pies are the best, my boys and I could eat the chicken and beef pies everyday of the week. So incredibly delicious.

  Im so glad we found this place. It's a little out of the way for me but so worth it. Their pies are AMAZING! The beef pie is my absolute favorite. The apple dumplings are also delicious. I always pick up a bag of their honey mustard pretzels too. Highly recommend you take a trip here.
