I just loved Amy's pottery class! She is a wonderful teacher - encouraging and patient - ready to give you just what you need, whatever your ability, to create a project you will cherish. I'm a big fan of her work as well - useful and down to earth as well as beautiful, often with images from nature.
I started taking pottery classes from Amy years ago and have not stopped learning from her. In group classes, I watched as she personalized the experience for each person. She is excellent with adults and kids alike. What makes her a fabulous instructor is that she is not only an accomplished potter, she is a certified teacher which may be why she is so good and breaking down the steps to anything you are doing. Regardless if I wanted to hand-build a piece with a slab or coils, sculpt or throw on the wheel, she would meet me where I was and take me where I wanted to be. Through it all she is kind, patient and caring. I highly recommend her classes and absolutely love her pottery!
