“I’m relatively new to the Lancaster area and was in possession of 2 acoustic guitars in need of repair. I googled guitar repair and found Menchey Music. I decided to take one of the guitars in and see how that worked. At the shop, the person I engaged with was very knowledgeable about what I needed done. I also discussed the strange problems (showed her pictures) with my second guitar and was assured that they could fix it. I was told my first guitar would be picked up from their shop on Monday and I would get a call from the repair person that day with an estimate. This all happened perfectly. A few days later I received a call saying my repaired guitar was ready for pickup. I picked it up and it is now Perfect! My next task is to drop off my second guitar for its repair.”

“I was originally very hesitant to put my children in daycare, but I was so comfortable and confident after enrolling my children in kindercare. My 4 year old son is learning so much, trying new things, eating healthy, and has a safe, clean and healthy facility to learn and grow in. The staff is exceptional, and the director, Lucy, is always very kind and understanding. I love the amount of engagement the teachers have with the children, and they strive to make sure they are doing everything in their power to treat the children with respect and individualism .”

“Lancaster Counry Day School is one of the top private schools in the country, and there teachers put even college profs to shame.”

“This is an excellent school. My only caution is to buy injury insurance. I had 1 kid trip up the ramp and crack his front teeth and another have his ear partially ripped off in gym class. So... yeah.. the laid back atmosphere there can sometimes be too laid back. Scooters + rubber gym floors + lack of supervision = a 3 child collision resulting in an ear being partially peeled off. But the staff is wonderful, the individualized approach to education is awesome and the feel is very community based. Everything you'd want in an elementary school. just make sure you get that insurance that they offer. A couple of neighbor kids had a concussion and a broken wrist from there too, so not a lot of supervision.”

“Fantastic Pre-K and Kindergarten program. Love the faculty and administration. Can't speak to the elementary program as my child has not matriculated that far yet. Great facilities, building, and classroom. Feel good about sending your child here. Also great summer camps.”

“I have been to 2 showcaases and have to say My Husband and I had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly and happy. My husband was at the Lancaster open house recently and was very well informed by the friendly instructors.(Melissa) Every one there was having a genuinely good time. Thank you Arthur Murray for your professionalism and for keeping Ballroom dancing alive and well! ”

“This school gets an extra star for being rateable online. As if that wasn't enough, it earns a second star for only having ONE room that's sinking into the ground an inch each year. How many schools can you find with only one? Anyway, the third star goes to the teachers and staff here. Honestly, they are very nice, helpful people. Kudos to them for putting up with us students. Now, I know some of you readers out there might be thinking, "but what about all the ceiling stains and leaks?" Well, how often does one gets a constant, growing change of scenery in the ceiling tiles? Not to mention it blends well with the pseudo-70s Wall tile. It really builds character - almost like playing a version of "survivor" with your sanity. How fun is that? The hardest part is trying not to set fire to your 40-pound binder when you get home. It does get kinda heavy, but the back problems you get are interesting. That's the fourth star. The fifth star goes to all the stories and memories every student gets. Some of the funniest moments of my life happened here. I wouldn't trade it for any other school, ever!”

“Awesome instructor!! The instructor really take the time out to get to know your family and your swimmer. Heidi loves spending time talking to you and getting to know you on a personal basis. Bring at Brothern Village Retirement home is neat and the residents will stop and say high to you and your children. If you are looking for a unique individual approach to your child learning to swim I highly recommend you go with British Swim School”

“This school is totally awesome!!! Except for the one teacher who grades like her life DOESN'T depend on it...and of course that one chem teacher who is terrible at teaching...oh, and that one librarian that kicks you out of the library for doing nothing but expressing your creative side.”

“I really had fun at Landis Run, it’s a great school!! :D the only problem though is that after 5th grade and starting in 6th grade kids turn bad, so enjoy 5th grade with your classmates as much as you can!”
