Funck's

Food was okay, lots of beer. Kegs sitting everywhere... I guess that's decoration? The apple crisp dessert isn't good, pick something else! Burger deal is good on Mondays.

I went twice this week. The food was exceptional. The service the first time was awesome. Tonight we had the bartender as our server and it was terrible. I had to go to him and get my own drinks, he never checked on us, we went to the bar to get boxes. It was so unpleasant we boxed it up and took it home.

Funck's has an extensive beer list that won't disappoint. I stopped in for dinner to meet an out of town guest who was in York, PA. I tried the small portion of meatloaf and it was OK, but the meat was ground super fine which I dont care for that much. The red mashed potatoes were very good and so was the chicken soup. I would recommend Funck's for sure. Very nice decor and a band was starting to play just as I was finishing up dinner. Would have liked to stay, but had an hour to drive home.

Always good food and wonderful service. Menu is sized just right (plenty to choose from, but not overwhelming) Fish tacos are my dad and my favorite. My husband enjoys the bacon-wrapped pork chops. Amazing selection of drinks, though I can't comment on those prices. We've always gone with family, who is very conservative and would not appreciate us buying alcohol. Some day though, I'll return to try some beverages, with my husband or friends. Such a huge selection, I can't imagine not finding something good. Food prices are as expected. Do know ahead: the fillet minion is not the tall, round cut we all know and love. It was thin (1-2 cm) and wide. I'd call it very thin, even if it were a NY strip. We should have said something when they brought it, but we were hungry and just wanted to eat. I would not order that particular dish again.
