“My wife and I visited Finch in late December to discuss having a custom ring made to replace her original engagement solitaire and wedding band wrap. She had stopped wearing the solitaire several years ago when we upgraded her wedding band, as it no longer matched. I was looking to surprise her with a new ring design with a larger center stone, but that also included her original solitaire and the smaller diamonds from her old wedding band. We had only a general idea of what we wanted, so we appreciated Mindy spending time showing us various different rings and design trends to give us some ideas and suggestions. A week or two later, we met to review several different mock-up designs that Finch's designers had created. We appreciated being able to see and handle actual 3D printed models throughout the design process, as it allowed us to see exactly what it would look like and make minor tweaks to the design. Mindy did a wonderful job of presenting us with several different options for a beautiful new center stone. She also found a nearly perfect matching solitaire for our original solitaire, as both of these stones are set on either side of the new center stone. We just picked up the ring and it is beautiful, better than we could've imagined. We loved the experience of dealing with Finch, as we felt like family. “I feel fortunate that I had Dr. James Thurmond as my surgeon. I can’t thank him enough, I will never be able to repay him what he did for me. My pain that I experienced was horrible. I had a herniated disk in my neck and the pain radiated down my right arm and caused numbness in my pointer finger and thumb. I couldn’t do anything, especially sneeze. Sneezing was the worse pain I felt at that moment and made my entire body feel like it was on fire. Dr. Thurmond explained what was wrong on my MRI and showed me exactly where the problem was located in my neck (C/6). I had two options for surgery. The first one was to have my disk replaced with an artificial disk or have a spinal fusion. He told me that the disk replacement would be the better choice in my situation but my insurance company would have to approve it. Luckily they did. I had a second opinion before surgery and they agreed that I need to have it. My surgery was on June 18th 2019 and it literally is the best health decision I ever made. I walked the day of my surgery to my pharmacy to get my medicine. I received a check up call from one of the nurses in his practice. I literally felt fantastic. My pain was pretty much a zero and I wasn’t on any meds. I took three pills the first day and that was it. I decided to share my experience because I believe Dr. Thurmond is one of the top surgeons in the area. There is no reason to think your experience would be any different than mine.”
