“The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the food my mom cooked during my boyhood. The dining was family style, which we didn't mind at all. There were homemade fried chicken, roast beef, buttered noodles, green beans, real mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, shew fly pie, strawberry pie, homemade chocolate ice cream and homemade vanilla ice cream. There were many other items, but I can't remember what. The service was wonderful. If we ran out of an item, the waitress was very quick to get refilled bowls. The restaurant was very clean; the restroom was also. There is also a very nice gift shop located inside the restaurant. When I return to Lancaster County. Pennsylvania, I will return to this restaurant. Thanks for a delicious meal and for the superb service.”

“I live approximately 15 minutes from Labadie Looms. I took my first lesson in weaving because a friend wanted to try weaving and I was hooked. Since then I have purchased a rigid heddle loom, a stand, spinning wheel, various accouterments, and yards and yards of wonderful hand-spun and/or hand dyed fibers. Donna, the owner, is the scion of generations of weavers. She is knowledgeable, personable and more about making a customer happy making a sale.
