Artie always does a great job and is a very nice person

Already been cutting my hair for over 30 years. He needs to work on his jokes though LOL......

Great place to get a hair cut, some coffee or just the local news.

Great haircuts, good conversations, reasonable prices, and a comic in need of a straight man. I've had Art cut my hair - and beard - for nearly 40 years now, driving 20 miles each way from Canfield, Ohio for the past 28 years. Even farther at times, when I would take jobs in Cleveland, Columbus, Canton, etc. I tried the local barbers in those places, and they just couldn't cut it [groan.]

A true "man's shop," with the talk centering around hunting, fishing, Pittsburgh pro sports, a little NASCAR [Rusty Wallace,] yada-yada. Crewcuts, executives, stenciled logos, and even mullets are all expertly done - and some of Art's cuts and styles have been featured in national trade magazines. The only time I recall him having a problem was when I asked for "Male Pattern Baldness" to support my wife's cancer battle. Ol' Artie needed to sit down to have a smoke and two fingers of Jack after that one.

Oh, yeah ... the constant interjection of Art's jokes permeates all conversations. Like: "Why do [ethnicity deleted] men all have mustaches?" Answer: "They want to look like their mothers." Or: "Did you know [such-and-such country] was favored to win the Olympic Gold Medal in hockey? Too bad they all drowned in spring training." Warning, however - if you play Abbott to Art's Costello, you may hurt yourself holding it in.

But wait! There's more! The coffee's always on, the Outdoorsmen Channel's always on, the automatic massage chair is only a buck, and a steady stream of local scenery walking through to use the tanning bed in the private back room is a fine bonus!

Don't let the lot full of pick-ups deter you. Those guys are just drinking Art's coffee and jawing about the last turkey-shoot or who came home too late last week and is still sleeping in the barn.
