We went there to get birth certificates (same day). We did not arrive until 1:30pm and I did not think there would be time to get it done. The person we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Once we had the form completed, she told us to come back in one hour. When we returned 55 minutes later she had them waiting for us. Everything flowed perfectly.

I needed a birth certificate to renew my drivers license and my wife wanted to obtain her certificate too. Dealing with a State agency and being told Vital Records is closed in New Castle, I anticipated a long day. I was pleasantly surprised. The agency is easy to find. We arrived at approximately 10:30 am, completed a simple form and paid $20.00 for each certificate. The State representative was very pleasant and helpful. She told me to return at around 1:45 pm. We had lunch and did a little shopping returning to the agency at approximately 1:20 pm. Expecting to be told at the pick-up window that the certificates were not ready, I was amazed that they were ready. Couldn't have been more pleased. Definitely deserves 5 stars.
