Alexander Schaeffer House is set on a land of approximately 85 acres. Built in 1736, this house museum provides a great example of the German Architecture. This house served as a residence and distilling area way back in the 18th century. This National Historic Landmark, is a two and a half storied house that is a home to several artifacts, furnishings and items of the 18th century.
