“Your typical local type bank. Always friendly helpful staff (even at several other branches I've visited). Been a customer for over 20 years back when the local chain was still First Star Bank, and then got joined up with another local ESSA. Having more branches spread out across eastern PA makes it a tad more convenient depending on where I'm traveling around (but this branch is closest and more convenient for me). Unfortunately it's afflicted with horrible interest rates like ALL other brick and mortar banks, since around 2000 when rates went in the hole because of you know who (along ridiculous swings in costs for some other things for no real reason). What rate competition that came in afterwards came in the form of online banks, and I have accounts with both kinds.”
