Great place for a short hike or stroll in nature. Various degrees of trails, from the paved 'park road' to steep and sometimes rocky single file trails. The longest loop is 8 miles, but a variety of other trails and connectors allow you to hike for just a couple of miles. So close to 309 and LCCC and yet it feels very remote, at least in the winter when it's not busy. Not sure how busy the trails get in the spring and summer though.
Great lights, kids will enjoy it. Toasting the marshmallows in an open fire is fun. Very family friendly. Recommend to friends and family.
This is a great find but it is hard to find. Inside the preserve is the Lehigh Valley Zoo where we webt for the holiday lights and then went to see the animals. A smaller Zoo but extremely friendly and welcoming. This is a fun Zoo for the whole family. The giraffes were magnificent and the penguins were fun to watch for the feeding.
Beautiful place to enjoy nature. Many hiking trails for a variety of levels. Clean and we'll maintained. Good family area.
We had so much fun!
This is a great place to bring the family to hang out, BBQ, have clean fun or get refreshed on a hot sunny day.
The fact that you can only get phone reception in one spot is even better, no distractions.
On the way out enjoy the sights of the elk and buffalo.
Being here brought back memories of when my parents would bring me as a child. Now I'm continuing the tradition with my children and grandchildren.
