Yelling at the tellers and making a big scene. The entire staff, and especially the teller he was working with, kept their cool and remained polite and professional through the whole thing. “I was in kidspeace when I was 15. I will be 26 in a few months and i still find myself thinking back to this place and the absolutely amazing people i met there, both staff and other patients. I was in 2 other places prior to this for severe depression and I had felt both times like I was some kind of animal in a cage. At Kidspeace I felt like I was at a summer camp and I quickly formed a bond with the staff and made so many friends. I felt like they were my best friends and we always had fun. All the nurses and staff were mostly young and they understood what it was like being a teenager, they were very laid back. I dont know if Justin, Sam and Ryan are still working there or not but I owe them a great deal as they constantly pushed me to do better and I cant say it enough how relaxed I felt there... I wish I could go back just to thank them for all they did and just enjoy the nostalgia for awhile. I really miss that place at times. I highly recommend this place, it's a gorgeous facility and its kept very clean. The doctors were great and the treatment involved 1 on 1 talks with both the counselors and the staff. It really made a difference because I felt like even the staff CARED so much about each of us. They understand.”

Scheduling is easy, as you can choose whatever days of the week work for you, as long as there is availability. They even provide a healthy snack. My daughter loves to play on their large playground, they get to go outside at least once a day. I can't think of going anywhere else!”

“Great place for a short hike or stroll in nature. Various degrees of trails, from the paved 'park road' to steep and sometimes rocky single file trails. The longest loop is 8 miles, but a variety of other trails and connectors allow you to hike for just a couple of miles. So close to 309 and LCCC and yet it feels very remote, at least in the winter when it's not busy. Not sure how busy the trails get in the spring and summer though.”
