A great lake to do hiking, fishing and boating. Plenty of recreational areas inside the park including a playground and a pool. Also a lot of areas for picnics and outings.
Love it there . Activities are to numerous to mention them all here.
It's a smaller park but it's local, usually reasonably clean (for a place frequented by humans) and there are multiple activities available. The picnic areas are nice, there's a small lake for fishing and kayaking, and multiple trails for hiking, some mountain biking, and cross country skiing. It's also accessible for handicap fishing. I'd recommend it for locals or a good day with your family.
If you enjoy fishing, camping, or just need your in general, I would give this place a shot. A lot of fun for families with all age groups and I go almost every other weekend in the summer. Would definitely recommend to anybody!
I got to do some work at this park. It's a beautiful park with a lot of people enjoying it. Great for fishing, camping, dog walking and they even have a pool with water slides as well as a large playground. We have been fixing up the fishing pier which is handicap accessible. I hear they have tiger muskie in the lake (I'd love to hook into one of those)!
