“Lots to explore for nature enthusiasts. Quiet forgotten little area. It's a good spot for time away from crowds and there are some decent jogging trails as well. It could use some cleaning but the abandonment makes for some interesting photography. Definetly worth a day trip!”

“Nice park and is going through some remodeling right now. There is plenty to do here, a short track to walk/run around with workout stations throughout it. Restrooms are present, but gritty. Playground for little kids and a nearby pavilion. Tennis court and a couple of basketball hoops although the hoops are right there in the parking lot. That's about the only downfall, but if you hit it right then you have the entire parking lot to play basketball. Most of the time you have the place to yourself unless there is a game going on in the field”

Couple items of note: - You will need a mountain bike, not suitable for hybrid - Not for beginners, there are some technically challenging areas - Wait at least a day or two after it rains before going, water puddles up along trail - Bug spray is probably a good idea - Can be done solo however there are signs of larger wildlife so take precaution Bottom trail head has two picnic tables and dedicated parking.”
