I've stayed here frequently on business. My room is always clean and I feel very safe staying at this hotel. The staff have been wonderful and always go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met. Thank you!
This Quality Inn is clean and quiet. It is definitely dated and looks like they are updating. The staff was friendly, we didn't have any major issues. Always check your smoke alarms, even though the rooms are supposed to be no smoking, people do it anyway - not the hotel's fault but be sure your smoke alarm is not taped over. The hotel was great about moving us if someone smoked in the room.
Had the cheapest option - a queen room that was mostly filled by the bed. It was very small, but otherwise tidy enough and everything seemed to work, including the mini-fridge. It was early September and a cool night. Checked in late to find the air conditioning on and switched it to heating. There was immediately an intense smell of burning dust on an electric element - it may have been the first time heat was on since the previous winter. Seconds later the smoke detector went off. Fortunately I could reset it myself and the smell dissipated as the dust burned off the heating element. At least it confirmed the detector was working! I could hear a neighboring couple's conversation but otherwise no major noise problems that night. It would probably be a lot worse when they're busy. My checkout was before sunrise and as I exited the lobby, was surprised to see the parking lot lights were off and the lot was extremely dark. It did not lend confidence to security, both for oneself and one's vehicle. As I drove past the other hotels along the strip back to I-79, all had their parking lot lights on. But this place was half the price of most of the other nearby hotels, which for this night when I just wanted to sleep, was acceptable.
Stayed for 2 days room was not cleaned with clean towels, bed not made, empty trash. unless we "asked" per the front desk. Didnt know that or we would have requested it. Thought they automatically did that. Breakfast was ok.
Overall, not the best of Choice Hotels, but it was fine- it’s one of the ‘cheaper’ options in the area. Location is great- Grove City outlets was only a few minutes away, and there are several great food options nearby as well. Service was friendly, and the overall property was clean. The issues we had were moreso with the room- it was clean, but the toilet needed a good scrub, and the bathtub drain did not drain properly. The towels were also yellow and some had dirt stains on them (but were clean- you could smell the detergent). I’m not sure why they can’t invest in new towels/and or bleach. Also, if you are looking for a quiet stay, this is not it. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear doors and noise from the 2nd and also 3rd floors- all night long. To be fair, it is a no frills hotel, no pool or anything so you are really just getting a room and a decent breakfast (waffles, cereal). Not a bad stay, but there is definitely room for improvement.
